Committees
Each SCAMS meeting, we take time to break out into committees to discuss things such as fundraisers, internships, learning opportunities, and more. This is a time for all members to get involved and contribute to the meetings.

Our F&A committee works to put on exciting events for our members to continue building connections with peers outside of the classroom. They also handle all fundraising events to help us pay for our member’s attendance to national conferences.

GDO!
Our GDO committee works to support our members by bringing in guest speakers, sharing job and internship information, and more. Community involvement is another important part of our RSO; nearly every year our GDO chair members will organize a presentation to a handful of elementary students to educate them on weather safety and atmospheric processes.
